This ESC and motor combo is particularly suitable for builders who are conscious of weight or dealing with limited space. It’s an ideal choice for 1:10 scale low-speed rock crawlers and trail runners operating on 2S-3S batteries and weighing less than 8 lbs. It can also be effectively utilized in more aggressive setups within lighter 1:10 scale touring cars, stadium trucks, or buggies up to 5 lbs.

Castle's sensored motors are engineered to be ROCK READY, ensuring smooth startup even at low RPMs. Users can expect PRECISE throttle control, BUTTERY SMOOTH starts, as well as PEAK PERFORMANCE and EFFICIENCY across the entire throttle range. The 1406-2280Kv model comes with 4mm male bullet connectors and includes a sensor harness for optimal sensored operation, while the sensor board is protected with a silicone conformal coating to guard against moisture.

Optimizing Castle ESC settings is easy through the Castle Link app via a Windows PC with the included Castle USB adapter (a coupon for a free adapter is provided). Alternatively, users can wirelessly connect through the Castle B-LINK Bluetooth Adapter (sold separately) along with the free Castle Link app for Android or iOS devices.
