A notable feature of the Micro X2 is its new data logging capability. Users can now capture real-time metrics, including motor RPM, battery ripple, ESC and motor temperatures, throttle input, and much more. This performance data is invaluable as it empowers users to refine their setup for optimized performance and battery longevity.

The Mamba Micro X2 maintains its versatile programmable Auxiliary Wire, enabling “on-the-go” adjustments to various settings such as torque control and maximum throttle. This means users can effortlessly fine-tune their ESC’s performance directly from their transmitter. The ESC comes ready to run straight out of the box but can also be customized according to individual preferences, including throttle curve adjustments, brake strength, and reverse settings. Accessing these features is straightforward, thanks to the complimentary Castle Link USB Adapter (included in the package) which works seamlessly with Castle’s user-friendly programming interface on Windows PCs.

For added convenience, the Mamba Micro X2 provides transmitter programming for six commonly adjustable settings, plus optional smartphone programming using the B-LINK Bluetooth Adapter (sold separately) along with the free Castle Link app available on Google Play and the Apple App Store. This upgrade is ideal for 1:18 2WD/4WD vehicles weighing up to 2 pounds and designed for 2s-3s LiPo (4-9 cell NiMH). Compatible vehicles include the Traxxas Slash 4x4 1/16, Losi Mini-T 2.0, Traxxas LaTrax Rally, Traxxas LaTrax Teton, and Axial Yeti Jr.

Our 0808 series motors utilize advanced 4-pole technology, enabling them to power 15-pound monster trucks effortlessly and execute wheelies with 25-pound X-Maxx vehicles on command. With enhanced efficiency and torque from the 4-pole design, these motors are ready to tackle whatever challenges users throw at them. The Mamba Micro X2’s mounting holes are designed at 2.5mm @ 14mm and come equipped with pre-installed 3.5mm male bullet connectors for easy integration. Optimizing Castle ESC settings is a breeze through the Castle Link app on Windows PCs using the included USB adapter or wirelessly with the optional Castle B-LINK Bluetooth Adapter in conjunction with the free Castle Link app for Android and iOS.

Importantly, although the Mamba Micro X2 does not feature an internal BEC, each purchase includes a FREE Castle Creations external 10-amp CC BEC, valued at $24. This upgraded BEC is designed with a broader range of voltages and significantly higher current capacity.
