We have enhanced this design beyond a standard Castle 14xx series motor to meet the demanding requirements of drag racing. Specifications include a robust 5mm output shaft, 12AWG wires, and 6.5mm bullet connectors. Given the motor's high-power capacity, it is crucial to pair it with an electronic speed control (ESC) of at least 1/8th scale size or larger. The Castle 1/8th Mamba Monster X and the 1/6th scale Mamba Monster X 8s are excellent matches for this motor.

To optimize performance, your final drive ratio will need adjustment—specifically, a decrease is recommended (utilizing a larger pinion gear and a smaller spur gear) to elevate RPMs for achieving top speeds. This motor can accommodate a wide range of gearing combinations and can handle the CHEAT timing adjustments easily, which are programmable through Castle Link.

The motor features high-strength, high-temperature neodymium sintered magnets enveloped in a tough Kevlar wrap to protect rotor integrity under demanding conditions. Additionally, oversized NMB bearings along with a vibration-damping system maximize bearing longevity.

High-quality, high-current 6.5mm male Castle Bullet Connectors come integrated with ultra-high strand count, replaceable 12-gauge wire, including a 210mm length sensored wire.

For optimal performance, this motor requires a compatible ESC, with our recommended choices being the Castle 1/8th Mamba Monster X or the 1/6th scale Mamba Monster X 8s.
